Ehun urtetik gorako historia duen museo hau eraberritu egin da duela gutxi, euskal kultura nazioartean ezagutzera emateko. Hala, euskal ondarea mundura zabaltzeko erakusleiho bihurtu da. Erakusketa berritzaileen bidez eta komunitatean, tradizioan eta kirol kulturan errotutako narratiba indartsu baten bidez, museoak Athletic Cluben eta Bilbo eta Bizkaiko jendearen arteko lotura sakona erakusten du.
